Khotang: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) district leader Jeevan Kumar Shrestha, who was critically injured after being hit by a motorcycle on Friday, died in the course of treatment in Kathmandu.
Shrestha was injured in the accident near his house at Diktel Bazar of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi municipality in Khotang and was taken to the Bansbari-based Neurological Hospital on a chartered flight.
The 58-year-old died today, according to RPP central member Rabin Chamling.
The over-speeding motorcycle (Pradesh 1–05–001 Pa 6837) hit him from behind, causing serious injuries to his head and chest. RSS
