Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has assured Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah of support.
During a meeting on Wednesday, the Prime Minister congratulated Shah on the election victory and said the government and his party will support good works to be carried out by the metropolis.
“Nepali Congress has a majority in the municipal executive. The party will assist in development activities. Do whatever necessary for waste management, I assure you of support from all sides,” said Deuba.
Mayor Shah said he will cooperate with the party.
