Buddha Air aircraft en route to Bhadrapur returns to Kathmandu

Kathmandu: An aircraft of Buddha Air that flew to Bhadrapur from Kathmandu returned to the Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday after a suspected issue.

Spokesperson at Kathmandu Airport Teknath Sitaula said that the aircraft returned due to a suspected issue with tires. The aircraft flew to Bhadrapur at 10:43 am.

Flight no. 953 from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur was diverted and safely landed in the Tribhuvan Airport after an issue in the aircraft tire was reported. All the 69 passengers on board were immediately transferred to another aircraft and flown to Bhadrapur.#BuddhaAir #TrsutedFlying

The plane landed safely and technical inspection is underway, said Situala.
