Kathmandu: At a time when the government is criticized for its inefficiency to control inflationary pressure, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma said that inflation will be controlled within the limit of 7 percent.
Nepal Rastra Bank, the central bank of the country, will formulate the Monetory Policy to limit the inflation to seven percent, Sharma said.
The plan of limiting inflation to seven percent, however, appears ambitious given that the lower-income group of the country has already been hit hard by the price hike in all essential commodities.
