Kathmandu: Yamaha’s most awaited bike, FZ-X, has entered the Nepali market. For the first time, the bike was revealed by MAW Enterprises, the official distributor of Yamaha for Nepal, at its biggest exchange fair, ‘Maha Exchange Mela’, organized from May 28 -April 04.
The bike is Yamaha’s first-ever neo-retro amalgamated with a wide range of classic bits and future intelligence like LCD Cluster and Bluetooth Connectivity, the company said.
The company said that the bike is engineered with the concept of ‘ride-freely’ for riders who love free, comfortable, and autonomous rides.
Loved by the Nepalese Cinestar Anmol KC for its excellent and classic specifications, a 149cc FI Blue core engine powers the bike that produces 13.3 Nm @ 5500 rpm of torque and 12.4 PS @ 7250 rpm of maximum power.
Designed to serve different purposes than the rest of the Yamaha bikes, every component of this bike is designed to meet the rider’s expectations. Features and designs like a two-level seat prepared with finesse craftsmanship, strong’ block pattern tires’ for all kinds of terrain, telescopic suspension with a front fork boot against the inner tube scratches or dents, and Bluetooth Connectivity make the bike exquisitely marveling, strong and smart, said Raju Chhetri, CEO of Yamaha Nepal. On the bike, Chhetri added that the Bi-Functional LED headlight with DRL and an oval-shaped LED ringtail light make it more classic and individual.
The company said that the all-new FZ-X, which will be available in Yamaha showrooms across Nepal from Sunday, is priced at Rs 4,26,900/- in the Nepali market.
Likewise, the company has also launched its new scheme, ‘Road to MotoGP. The scheme is offered at the purchase of Yamaha bikes, in which four lucky winners will get a chance to watch the MotoGP Live from Yamaha Paddock at Chang International Circuit, Thailand. The scheme applies to all Yamaha bike and scooter purchases from today, the company said.
