Kathmandu: Happy Minds, an online platform that offers mental health counseling and therapy services to Nepalese around the world, has been selected as SAARC Startup national finalist from Nepal.
Representing Nepal’s healthcare sector, Happy Minds has been selected as one of the best newcomers this year. Best newcomer startup is recognized as the product/service provider that is already on the market on a path to disrupt its industry and positively impact the economy and the world.
“Happy Minds has been actively working to promote mental health education and provide a platform for all Nepalese across the world to connect with mental health professionals. With campaigns and programs, the organization has been offering sponsored mental health support through respective organizations and colleges,” said Shreeya Giri, Founder and Managing Director of Happy Minds.
She also urged Nepalese around the world to vote for Happy Minds before May 26, 2022.
“Voting for Happy Minds at the SAARC startup awards brings recognition and resources to the mental health sector of Nepal among the SAARC countries,” said Giri. The winner will receive a cash prize of USD 100,000 along with additional support and care towards growing the impact of the business.
SAARC startup awards is an annual event organized under the Global startup awards. With various categories, the platform attracts thousands of startups across the world. Competing from regional level to international, the finalist startups receive benefits such as pitching platforms, incubation programs, grants, and more.
