Kathmandu: Nepal restricted Zimbabwe ‘A’ to 87 runs in the second One-Day International match on Saturday.
Put to bat first after losing the toss at the Kirtipur-based TU Cricket Ground, Zimbabwe managed to get only 87 runs on the board losing all wickets in 31.5 overs with a brilliant bowling spell by Nepali bowlers. Karan KC and Sompal Kami grabbed three wickets each as Sandeep Lamichhane took two wickets for Nepal.
Johnathan Campbell top-scored for Zimbabwe at 20 runs as Brad Evans and Cephas Zhuwao made 20 and 10 runs respectively. No other batsmen managed to score double-digit runs.
Zimbabwe ‘A’ had defeated Nepal by three wickets in the first One-Day International match played on Friday.
