Kathmandu: NMB Bank Limited has launched a new savings account, “NMB You-Wah! Digi Savings”. The bank in a statement said it launched the new scheme to encourage youth towards digitization, savings and investment.
All Nepali citizens between 18-40 years can open this account. NMB Bank, under this product with zero minimum balance requirement, is providing the highest interest rate in the industry.
To encourage youth towards savings & investment, the bank has announced to provide free Mero Share, demat, and ASBA, according to the bank.
Similarly, focusing towards digitization the bank is also offering free facilities on NMB Omni Channel Banking, NMB Credit Card and NMB Dollar card along with special benefits on digital transactions such as free Inter Bank Fund Transfer and cashback plan up to Rs 1,200 per year on digital payments.
Furthermore, for students aspiring to pursue higher education, the bank is also providing a 25% discount on education loan procession fees.
NMB Bank is currently providing its services through 201 branches, 139 ATMs and nine extension counters.
