Kathmandu: Nepal reported 4,904 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, said the Ministry of Health and Population on Saturday.
The new cases were detected from 14,562 tests. The daily positivity rate stands at 33.6 percent. With this, the active caseload in the country stands at 87,329.
Likewise, 5,924 patients recovered from the disease during this period taking the total number of recoveries to 848,360. The recovery rate currently is 89.5 percent.
A total of six patients lost their lives taking the death toll in the country to 11,703.
