Kathmandu: K Foundation, an organization working for animal welfare, education, financial literacy, primary vision care, and sports development to all underprivileged communities has distributed clothes and educational material to Devishwor Basic School, Ramechap on Wednesday.
Likewise, the organization also conducted a two-day program to enhance the artistic and creative skills of students from classes 1 to 5.
“The foundation has helped to grow the quality of education by giving priority to painting and dancing in the school’s library in remote areas,” said Saurav Rimal, President at K Foundation. “Along with distributing clothes to students, we have also taught them painting and rewarded the best painter as well.”
“We believe this will motivate the students towards their studies,” he added.
The foundation has also decided to facilitate a painting teacher for the school very soon.
“It is very necessary to identify the extra talent of students otherwise their future will be affected,” said Navaneet Koirala. “So we tried to explore students’ talents in school based in the remote area.”
