Kathmandu: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene effective from Tuesday midnight.
According to NOC, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 3 per liter, while diesel and kerosene are also dearer by Rs 3 per liter. With the revised price, petrol now costs Rs 139 per liter in the Kathmandu Valley. Likewise, diesel and kerosene will now cost Rs 122 per liter.
Likewise, the state-owned oil monopolist also increased the price of aviation fuel. The NOC has increased the price of aviation fuel sold to domestic carriers by Rs 5 per liter. With the increment, the price of domestic aviation fuel is Rs 106 per liter.
Similarly, NOC has increased the price of jet fuel for international carriers by USD 100 per KL. With the revised price, international carriers now have to pay USD 995 per KL for jet fuel.
