Kathmandu: A total of 469 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the last 24 hours in the country. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new cases were identified from 7,115 RT-PCR and 3,172 antigen tests.
With the new cases, the Covid-19 tally has reached 813,433 (in PCR tests) and 94,674 (in antigen tests) in the country as of Tuesday. The positivity rate stood at 4.5 percent.
Similarly, the Ministry confirmed that 555 patients have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of recovered patients has reached 792,832 so far. The recovery rate stands at 97.5 percent.
According to the Ministry, 11 Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours across the country. The Ministry stated that the total number of deaths from coronavirus infection has reached 11,427.
The Ministry has further shared that there are 9,174 active cases of coronavirus across the country.
