Kathmandu: Bagmati Province Chief Minister Rajendra Prasad Pandey will undergo a floor test on November 8. Chief Minister Pandey was appointed to the post on Thursday with support from 59 lawmakers.
CM Pandey is going to take a vote of confidence in the province assembly according to the constitutional provision that a vote of confidence must be taken in the province assembly within 30 days of becoming the Chief Minister.
Pandey has already registered a proposal in the Parliament Secretariat, according to the Province Assembly Secretariat.
Pandey became the Chief Minister in support of the alliance after CPN-UML Vice-Chairperson Astalaxmi Shakya resigned from the post.
