Kathmandu: The government has recommended ambassadors for India, the USA and the UK.
A meeting of Council of Ministers held on Thursday afternoon recommended Dr Shankar Sharma for India, Shreedhar Khatri for the USA and Gyan Chandra Acharya for the UK, said a Cabinet minister.
Earlier, the government had recalled all the ambassadorial appointments made by the erstwhile government on political grounds.
As per the Constitutional provision, President appoints ambassadors following endorsement of names from the Parliamentary Hearing Committee.
