Jhapa: The Nepal-based office of Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD)—an organization working in the humanitarian and development sector—has accomplished various social programs in different places of Jhapa.
HHRD said that the events were held in coordination with the-Jhapa based humanitarian and development organization ‘Work for Nepal (WFN).
With the financial aid of HHRD, WFN handed water filter plants to various schools. Tilchandra Adhikari, President at WFN said that the schools that received those water filter plants include Khajurgachi Secondary School, Janta Bal Bikash Adharbhut School, Rastriya Adharbhut School and few others.
Similarly, the organization also completed the three months training of Dhaka weaving in Kamal Village Municipality – 4.
Recently, the organization has also inaugurated other various programs and training in Damak Municipality.
According to HHRD Program Manager Jiba Prasad Pokharel, the programs include 3 months of training in tailoring and dhaka weaving, maintenance of AC and refrigerator and other electronic appliances.
