Kathmandu: Revolutionary singer Juth Bahadur Khadgi, famously known as JB Tuhure, passed away on the course of treatment at Vayodha Hospital in Kathmandu on Thursday. He was 76.
Tuhure breathed his last at 12:30 AM today on the course of treatment, Saral Sahayatri of Jana Sanskritik Mahasangh told Nepal Live Today.
On August 17, singer Tuhure was rushed to the hospital after he suffered a stroke.
Tuhure, a 76-year-old native of Dharan, was a member of parliament at the second Constitutional Assembly, representing CPN (Maoist).
His other revolutionary songs such as ‘Basai Hidney Ko Tatiley’ and ‘Aadhi Kholailey’ are also very popular among communist leaders and the general public.
