Kathmandu: The Education and Health Committee of the Parliament has directed the government to conduct the Grade 12 examinations in the physical presence of students. A meeting of the committee held on Tuesday directed the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to make arrangements for the examinations.
The committee said that repeated postponement of the examinations has created a psychological impact on students and directed the concerned agencies to hold examinations at home centers immediately by managing vaccines to students and ensuring health protocols.
The National Examinations Board (NEB) on August 7 had postponed the examinations of Grade 12 indefinitely citing the risk of Covid-19 infection. The government is currently administering vaccines to students.
