Kathmandu: Nepal India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) and Intermodal Transport Development Board discussed various aspects to enhance Nepal’s trade and transit with the representatives of business communities from Nepal and India. The discussion was held at the NICCI Secretariat in Kathmandu with Ashish Gajurel, the Executive Director of Intermodal Transport Development Board.
Sunil KC, Vice-chairman of NICCI, said the discussion was held to address the need to further develop and reform the transit and transportation sector of Nepal.
On the occasion, Ashish Gajurel outlined his three priorities: Completion and operation of dry port at Chobhar, expedite the construction process at DodharaChadani and expand the scope of Nepal Intermodal Transport Development Board. Gajurel thanked the business community for providing him suggestion to enhance transit and transport sector. “I thank NICCI and other private sector experts for providing feedback and suggestion,” he said.
