Covid-19: Nepal records 1,831 new cases and 20 deaths; 1,533 recovered in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: Nepal recorded 1,831 fresh coronavirus cases and 20 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

A total of 1,237 cases were confirmed positive through PCR tests while 594 were confirmed through the antigen method. Samples of 5,535 people were tested through the PCR method while 3,683 samples were tested using the antigen method.

As of Sunday, the death toll from Covid-19 stands at 9,382. As many as 1,533 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.
