Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index suffered a double-digit fall on Tuesday. The stock market closed at 2,828 points after registering a decline of 47.50 points.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index went down by 9.87 points and reached 523.70 points.
A total turnover of Rs 6.72 billion was recorded today with 14,044,381 shares of 223 companies traded. All the sub-indices expect microfinance went down. The microfinance sub-index registered an increase of 26.4 points. Nonlife insurance sub-index plummeted the most by 251.53 points.
Nepse index had went slightly up by 5.11 points to close at 2,875.49 points on Monday.
