Nepal’s Covid-19 recovery rate improves to 88.6 percent after 2,141 patients recover in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: A total of 2,141 more people have recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of people who have recovered from Covid-19 has reached 545,662 in the country. The recovery rate has improved to 88.6 percent.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,607 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded across the nation during the same period. With this, the number of the Covid-19 caseload has reached 615,984 as of Thursday afternoon.

The latest Covid-19 cases were detected in 12,484 tests including 7,711 RT-PCR and 4,773 antigen tests held in various laboratories in the country in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 39 peoples died of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 8,597.

The total number of active cases stands at 61,725. There are 7,135 active cases in Kathmandu, 2,308 in Bhaktapur, and 3,071 in Lalitpur.

A total of 6,898 got recovered on June 1; 7,219 on June 2, 5,904 on June 3; 8,663 on June 4; 8,243 on June 5; 6,636 on June 6; 6,951 on June 7; 6,570 recovered on June 8, 5,768 on June 9, 5,293 on June 10; 5,225 on June 11; 6,295 on June 12; 3,994 on June 14; 4,187 on Jun 15; 3,082 on Jun 16 and 2,141 on June 17.
