Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index went up by 29.55 points on Thursday to reach an all-time high of 2,856.67 points.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index that measures the performance of big companies, increased by 7.96 points to close at 513.11 points.
The stock market also set a daily turnover record with Rs 16.90 billion turnover registered after 34,691,312 shares of 218 companies traded.
The development bank sub-index increased the most by 146.02 points as hotels and tourism and manufacturing and production sub-indices increased by 117.11 and 71.24 points respectively.
