Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index closed at 2,815.39 points on the last trading day of the week after a decline of 1.20 points.
The Sensitive Index that measures the performance of big companies also went down by 0.28 points and closed at 503.70 points. A total of Rs 14 billion turnover was recorded at the stock market today after 41,813,994 shares of 215 companies were traded through 147,493 transactions.
The trading sub-index increased the most by 281.53 points as development bank and nonlife insurance sub-indices went up by 114.3 and 142.29 points. Likewise, hydropower sub-index increased by 131.78 points respectively.
The microfinance sub-index went down by 191.69 points.
