Covid-19: Nepal witnesses 7,914 fresh cases and 193 deaths; 7,664 recovered in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: Nepal recorded 7,914 fresh coronavirus and 193 deaths in the last 24 hours, the country’s Ministry of Health and Population stated.

According to the Ministry, 7,598 cases were confirmed positive in PCR tests while 316 were confirmed through the antigen method. Samples of 18,965 people were tested through the PCR method while 961 samples were tested using the antigen method.

As of today, the death toll from Covid-19 has reached 6,346. Moreover, 7,664 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
