Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index went up by 20.71 points on the second trading day of the week.
The stock market closed at 2,759.21 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Index went up by 4.45 points and reached 492.58 points.
A total turnover of Rs 9.5 billion was recorded with 19,056,236 shares of 218 companies traded through 101,918 transactions.
The life insurance sub-index increased by the most by 118.39 points. Likewise, banking went up by 9.03 points, trading 7.11, Hydropower 63.83, finance 12.47, and nonlife insurance increased by 39.09 points.
