Kathmandu: The Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN) has objected to the provision of publishing advertisements of the government or its agencies through the Advertisement Board.
In a statement it said that the provision of collecting advertisements of every districts and distributing through a central mechanism will be impractical.
AAN also requested the government to think objectively by adopting the international practice and tradition of the role of an advertising agency.
It expressed concern that the role of the advertising agency will be neglected as the government or bodies under it should follow a provision to publish and broadcast public welfare or other advertisements or information through the Advertisement Board.
