Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index increased by 27.47 points on Tuesday to close at 2,673.3 points.
The Sensitive Index that measures the performance of big companies went up by 3.12 points and closed at 478.24 points.
The stock market recorded a total turnover of Rs 5.8 billion with total of 10 million shares of 220 companies traded through 62,659 transactions.
All the sub-indices went up today with trading recording an increase by 221.67 points.
Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited (BNT) was the top gainer as Bishal Bazaar Company Limited recoded its name as top loser company today.
