Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index went down by 12.47 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.
The stock market closed at 2,637.13 points after sub-indices expect investment, banking, and finance fell.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index that measures the performance of big companies also decreased by 0.77 points and closed at 473.04.
A total of 15,980,815 shares of 216 companies were traded today that resulted in a total turnover of Rs 6.8 billion.
Khanikhola Hydropower Co. Ltd was the top gainer, while the share price of Bishal Bazar Company Limited plummeted the most.
The stock market had registered a decline by 5.09 points on Wednesday to close at 2649.60 points.
