Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index that fell two days in a row went up by 92.46 points on Tuesday to close at 2,599.08 points.
The Sensitive Index increased by 14.48 points to 467.28 points.
A total of 122,219 shares of 216 companies were traded 63,558 times today that saw a turnover of Rs 5.109 billion.
The insurance sub-index has increased the most by 553.64 points.
Similarly, manufacturing and production went up by 239.03, microfinance by 237.85, hydropower 153.08, development bank 93.76, banking 45.13, hotel and tourism 39.35, finance 35.37, investment by 4.34 points and the mutual fund sub-index rose 0.18 points.
