Kathmandu: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) will be constructing a new terminal building at Nepalgunj Airport at an investment of Rs 3 billion.
CAAN Executive Director Rajan Pokharel stated that the terminal building is being constructed to carter the growing number of air passengers to the airport that has turned into a domestic hub airport.
The new terminal building will be constructed as a master plan of the national aviation governing body.
CAAN Spokesperson Raj Kumar Chhetri said that a consultant has been selected and the design has been finalized.
